I brought Tactiek as a bit of a project as a 9yr old. We competed up to Medium and she really wowed the judges with her talent! However travelling was quite a worry for her so we decided to retire her to a broodmare and what an awesome mare she has proved to be.

Tactiek is by the world renowned Jazz who is recognised as one of the most influential dressage stallions in modern history. In 2006 he got the predicate Preferent and in February 2007 he was named KWPN Stallion of the Year. He was ranked number 1 on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Jazz was known to be a Grand Prix horse producer. He has 13 licensed sons and 99 preferent daughters. KWPN has counted 125 Dutch warmblood registered offspring by Jazz competing at national and international Grand Prix level and 195 at small tour level.

 

Tactiek’s Dam Line comes from several keur, pref, prest graded KWPN horses. Her dam, FANIEK STV, produced several competition horses competing and graded at Elite prok, ster, pref, prest mares. Tactiek has a full sister, NINIEK STV, who competed at Grand Prix and has produced 4 Inter 1 horses and several competition horses, one of which was KWPN Stallion Licensed winner in 2016. Tactiek’s half sister by Johnson, CYRANIEK, first foal came 3rd at the Stallion Licensing show 2016 and is also competing at Inter 1.

With a dam line producing consistant high level licensed and highly graded stallions and mares, Tactiek has a very exciting dam line and this has showed when Floriek won Regionals, Domoniek won the BEF Futurity Equine Bridge 5yr old, and when Dynamic was Elite at Futurity. Unfortunately with Tactiek now being 21, it is unlikely we will be having any more foals from her, but feel very fortunate to have her as a Foundation mare. We look forward to potentially having Embryos or foals from Floriek or Domoniek and potentially keeping Dynamic as a stallion prospect to continue the line.
