Lilly is a super elegant mare with a lot to like. Most of all her super active hindleg! So far all her youngsters have this hindleg and her very kind cuddly nature. They have also proved trainable and love having a job!

 

Lily is by the thoroughbred stallion, Laurie’s Crusador, who began his career on the track. He arrived in Holland and became KWPN approved. He was proclaimed Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2006. It was the first time that a thoroughbred stallion was honoured with this award. Almost no other Thoroughbred has influenced German warmblood breeding as this sire has. Laurie’s Crusador has produced many successful Grand Prix horses, He has over 723 competition horses under his name, including 605 dressage competitors, with 80 competing at advanced level. He is the sire of 55 licensed sons.

 

Lily’s dam sire Warkant was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year for 2002. He produced several high priced auction horses including Wahajama who won at the 5 and 6-year-old Dressage Championships at the Bundeschampionate and then went on to be a successful Grand Prix competitor. Interestingly the same cross produced the legendary Londonderry and London Time.

 

Lily is also half sister to a Grand Prix stallion, SUMMER HIT, by Sandro Hit.

 

She has always been a broodmare but constantly produces talented horses with a great work ethic!
