Dakota Bek aka Bek (aka Bekasaurus)
This gentle giant is such a dream!! I have ridden and been part of Beks journey for quite a few years. She is one of the kindest most trainable mares I have ridden and although a big girl at 17.2, she lacked confidence in the arena. She would never spook/run or do anything silly, she was just reserved and a little bit of an 'intrevert'. We took her for some training with Gareth Hughes who also admired this temperament and her correct way of going over the winter of 2019/2020

Then very sadly Beks owner Rachel passed away that January. She loved this mare and we were so looking forward to the plans we had for her. Rachel was a really super horse woman and actually helped me with my riding from the ground. Telling me when I'd ridden a bad transition or indeed when things looked good I feel totally honoured and proud that she offered for me to have Bek as one of my own..
Along with this came my pregnancy and covid.. I knew Rachel didnt want Bek to go to waste so I decided to put her in foal. Now I can pretty much hear Rachel laughing at me saying 'Well that's another one to ride' but like Rachel I didnt want this fabulous mare to go to waste in a year that was all so uncertain.. so who knows what the future holds with us, will she be a future broodmare/competition horse/ or both.. only time will tell but for the time being we shall see what this spring will have for us.

He has many approved sons including Chippendale, the 2012 Stallion testing champion Everdale, the 2013 Stallion testing champion Fairytale, and the 2014 Stallion Show champion Glamourdale He is renowned for the production of loose and well moving horses with superb trainability.
Bek combines this dressage stallion with advanced level showjumper Fruhling, who is by the highly regarded Landadel. Bek has a number of international showjumpers in her dam line, but Fruhling’s damline has also produced the top international dressage horse Brillant as well as many approved stallions. Proving the versatility of the pedigree.
